Asia Programming Contest 2009 – Manila
October 22-23, 2009 Ateneo de Manila University
Invitation
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is the most prestigious programming competition in the world. The contest is a two-tiered competition among teams of students representing institutions of higher education. Teams first compete in regional contests held around the world from September to November each year. The winning team from each regional contest qualifies to advance to the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals.
Hosted by Ateneo de Manila University and organized by the Ateneo Grid and High Performance Computing Group (AGHPC) together with the Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP), the 2009 ACM ICPC Asia-Manila Onsite Contest will be held on October 23 while the Philippine National Onsite Contest will be held on October 22, 2009.

Introduction:
The Department of Mathematics in the Faculty of Science at UBD will host The 2nd International Conference on Mathematical Modelling and Computation and The 5th East Asia SIAM Conference at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) during June 8-11, 2009. The Department of Mathematics has continuing research interests in the mathematical modelling of biological and physical systems, financial mathematics, and areas such as integral and differential operators and numerical methods. The 2nd International Conference on Mathematical Modelling and Computation and The 5th EASIAM Conference shall provide a venue to exchange ideas in these areas and indeed any aspect of mathematical modelling and computation, in promoting both established and newer national and international research relationships. Participants from throughout the region are especially encouraged to attend.

Call For Papers:
The Scientific Programme of the Conference will include 50 minute invited talks and 25 minute contributed talks.
An Abstract equivalent in length of no more than 500 words should be submitted in Latex format by every intending contributor and sent by e-mail to the Conference Secretariat no later than May 15, 2009.
