Images of Xiamen, China -- Wanshi Botanical Garden

Notes: As part of the 3rd East Asia SIAM Conference tour last Sunday (4 November 2007), we visited Wanshi Park -- Xiamen's Botanical Garden. The garden includes many plant species found in the subtropical region. One of the important plants we saw was a tree which (we were told) belongs to the same species as that of the tree where Gautama Buddha (the founder of Buddhism) got enlightened.
