I read on the Philippine Daily Daily Inquirer today (10/12/07) that my colleague in the Mathematics Department of Ateneo de Manila University, Dr. Catherine "Cathy" Vistro-Yu, is one of the recipients of this year's Ten Outstanding Women in the Nations's Service (TOWNS).
