Greetings!
The Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP) and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) will hold the FirstPhilippine National Olympiad in Informatics (PNOI2008) on March 15, 2008 in Ateneo de ManilaUniversity, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The event will consist of two parts:
1. Seminar on Computer Programming Competitions for High School Teachers/Coaches and Students.
2. Informatics Olympiad (Programming Competition) for High School Students.
This is an individual contestopen to all high school students from second year tof ourth year levels. Students may use either C, C++, or JAVA. The top three winners will receive special prizes. The top 25 participating students in PNOI 2008 will be eligible to compete in the 2nd Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) scheduled on May 10, 2008. The registration fee for teachers/coaches is PhP 500 while the fee for students is PhP 300. The fee includes light snacks, lunch, and certificate of participation.
Note:
1. If paying by check please make check payable to:Ateneo de Manila University.
2. We will accept cash payments onsite.
3. Students may choose to attend the seminar only (they are not required to join the contest)
