Musica Chiesa CD: A Very Nice Gift Item

Last night (27 March 2009), while I was having a break from the Graduation Ceremony in Ateneo de Manila University, I chanced upon a room where music compact discs (CDs) from the Jesuit Ministry were being sold.

I "discovered" a very nice CD -- Musica Chiesa (Jesuit Chamber Music). At only one hundred fifty pesos (PhP 150) the music CD is a very good buy. I bought some copies which I intend to give to my friends.

The Musica Chiesa CD contains the following (instrumental) music:

1. "Hontiveros Overture" by Avelino Santos, Crispulo Pangilinan, and Eddie Hontiveros, SJ

2. "Huwag Kang Mangamba" by Manoling Francisco, SJ and Onofre Pagsanghan

3. "Stela Maris" by Silvino Borres, Jr, SJ and Manoling Francisco, SJ

4. "Awit ng Paghahangad" by Charlie Cenzon, SJ

5. "Panunumpa" by Jboy Gonzales, SJ

6. "Sa Dapit Hapon" by Bienvenido Tabuena and Eddie Hontiveros, SJ

7. "Pagbabasbas" by Rene Javellana, SJ, Jandi Arboleda and Manoling Francisco, SJ
