Last Minute Internet Access in Taipei, Taiwan (April 14, 2008)

Notes:

Allan (Espinosa, our cluster system administrator in Ateneo de Manila University) and I are now in Taipei Taoyuan International Airport and will board our plane (Cebu Pacific Flight 5J 0311) on our way back to Manila.

There is a place near the Immigration Area wherein a passenger may access the Internet free for 30 minutes.

It has been a productive meeting for us here in Taipei on the occassion of the EUAsiaGrid Project Kick-off Meeting and the International Symposium on Grid Computing (ISGC 2008).

To our hosts, Dr. Simon Lin of Academia Sinica Grid Computing Center (ASGC) and his staff -- THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

To the European Commission -- thank you for the funding assistance.

To all colleagues (old and new) that I met in Taipei, Taiwan over this past week, thank you for the exchange of ideas and the interaction.

Cheers,

Raffy
