Mrs. Lourdes T. David, Director of the Rizal Library since 2001, was recently chosen by the Professional Regulation Commission as the recipient of the 2008 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award in the field of Library Science.The PRC Outstanding Professional of the Year is the highest award bestowed by the commission upon a professional as recommended by his or her peers for having demonstrated utmost competence and social responsibility in the profession, among others.
