Congratulations to the team from St. Petersburg University of IT, Mechanics and Optics (Russia) which emerged as the 2008 ACM International Collegiated Computer Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals Champion! They won over teams from leading universities around the world, including the team from Massachusets Institute of Technology (MIT, United States of America) which garnered the second place.
The 2008 ACM ICPC World Finals was held in Banff Springs Hotel, Canada on April 8-9. The event was hosted by the University of Alberta (Canada) and sponsored by IBM.
