On Friday, 7 November 2008, I attended the 5th Technical Committee Meeting on Curriculum Development of the Technical Panel for Information Technology of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The meeting started at 9:00 a.m. in the Imperial Palace Suites, Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Below is the meeting agenda:

1. Call to Order
2. Approval of Agenda
3. Business of the Day
Updates on: (a) Survery result on the ACT offering, (b) Discussion on the cutting edge program in IT, (c) HEIs applying for permit/recognition, and (d) DIT curriculum
4. Adjournment


The meeting was chaired by my colleague, Dr. Eliezer Albacea, Professor, Institute of Computer Science, University of the Philippines-Los Banos.
