SUBJECT: FACULTY DAY, Second Semester 2008-2009

I would like to invite everyone to our Second Semester Faculty Day on

Friday, 14 November 2008
Leong Hall Auditorium
7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

We will begin with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 7:30 a.m. in the
College Chapel, to be presided by Fr. Rene B. Javellana, S.J. Registration
will start at 8:00 a.m. at the main lobby of Leong Hall.

The morning program will focus on "Developing Students' Resilience in the
Face of Adversity." In the afternoon program, the research groups of the
Agenda for Hope will present their outputs for comments and discussion.

All Loyola Schools full-time faculty members, administrators and professionals
are expected to attend Faculty Day. Part-time faculty members are most welcome
to join. All classes are suspended until 6:00 p.m.

Please acknowledge your attendance by signing on the SIGN-UP REPLY SLIP we have given to your Department/Office Secretary, to be returned to the Office of the
Vice President by Wednesday, 12 November 2008.
