GRADING SYSTEM

92 – 100 = A

86 – 91 = B+

77 – 85 = B

69 – 76 = C+

60 – 68 = C

50 – 59 = D

Below 50 = F


Final Grade = (Total Score/800) x 100 %

CLASS POLICIES

1. Each class shall begin with a prayer.

2. Cellular phones shall be turned off during class hours. The teacher has the right to confiscate cellphones and turn them over to the Office of Student Affairs.

3. Maximum number of absences is 9 cuts. An absence on an MWF class is considered 1 cut.

4. The teacher may send anyone out of the classroom due to discourtesy to the teacher or to a fellow student, misbehavior in the classroom, and other reasons found in the Student Handbook.

5. No makeup assignment, seatwork, quiz or lab exercise (ASQL) will be given. Any missed ASQL will automatically mean a 0 for that ASQL.

6. A make-up test or exam may be given. The decision whether to allow a student to take a make-up test/exam depends on the student’s reason/s and the Department Chair’s approval. Make-up tests/exams are more difficult than those taken by the majority.

7. Any form of cheating is not allowed. Refer to the Student Handbook for details.

8. Use bond paper in all tests/exams. Do not use pencil in all tests/exams. No borrowing and/or lending of calculators.

9. Partial points given by the teacher are NOT negotiable.

10. A student with an average of 90% based on the 4 long tests may be exempted from taking the final exam.
