Call for Papers & Posters

Scope

HPC Asia 2009 is the tenth of a series of successful international conferences held every 18 months. The conference provides an international forum for HPC researchers, developers, and users throughout the world to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, case studies, latest research results and future development suggestions on all aspects of high performance computing. In addition to contributed technical papers, HPC Asia 2009 will also feature keynote/invited speeches, tutorials, commercial/research exhibition, etc. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts of research work in all areas of high performance computing.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

● System Architecture and Models for HPC
● System Software for HPC
● Algorithms and Applications for HPC
● Computational Science & Scientific Computation (BT, NT, ST, ET, etc.)
● Grid Computing, its application and Business models
● e-Science and/or Cyber-infrastructure
● High Performance Network and Networked Applications
● Performance Modeling and Evaluation
● Parallel I/O and Storage Systems
● Resource Management and Job Scheduling
● Parallel Programming Model, Environments, and Tools
● Others

Important Dates:

● Paper Submission Start: August 1 , 2008
● Paper Submission Due:September 18 , 2008
● Poster Submission Due:October 8 , 2008
● Author Notification:November 28 , 2008
● Camera-Ready Paper Due:December 28 , 2008

■ Submission:

● Paper Submission. Papers presenting original and unpublished work are invited and will be evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Submitted papers should be formatted in a two-column IEEE Computer Society format (URL http://www.computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm) and should not exceed 8 pages including figures and references. One author of each accepted paper will be expected to present the paper at the conference. Submissions should be made via the conference web site: http://www.nchc.org.tw/event/2009/hpcasia.

● Poster Submission. Poster authors are invited to submit poster abstract up to 2 pages. The program committee will review the abstracts in terms of originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.Submissions should be made via the conference web site: http://www.nchc.org.tw/event/2009/hpcasia.
