This is to remind/inform all Science and Engineering (SOSE) faculty of the details for Faculty Day.

Date: June 20, 2008 (Friday)

Mass at College Chapel at 7:30 am.

Registration: 8:00 am at the Leong Hall lobby (c/o Deans' Ofcs)

Program: 8:30 at Leong hall Auditorium
(This is both for Full-time and Part-time faculty.)

Program Flow

8:30 - National Anthem, Invocation, Introduction of Administrators, New Faculty members and Professionals (VP for Loyola schools will introduce the administrators, the deans will introducethe chairs, and the chairs will introduce the new and returning faculty (only the name))

9:15 - Address of the University President

10:00 - Address of the VPLS

10:30 - Break

11:00 - Open Forum

11:30 - Launch of LS website

11:45 - Introduction to Afternoon Session

12:00 - Lunch at LH Roofdeck

1:50 pm - QA competency Mapping Workshop (by department)

The break-out rooms are as follows:

1. Biology - Dean's Conference Room

2. Chemistry - Chem 109

3. ECCE - CTC 315

4. ES - Faura 115

5. Health Sciences - Health Sciences Conference Room

6. DISCS - DISCS Conference Room

Before we break for lunch, there will be a group picture taking of all LS faculty and administrators at the Leong hall steps.

After lunch, at about 1:35 p.m., before you proceed to your respective department'sbreak-out rooms, we will have the Picture-taking of all SOSE Facultyin SEC in front of Escaler Hall.

While the workshops are on-going, a photographer will also make therounds of all the break-out rooms to take pictures of the faculty by department.
